L-TAN SUPER HIGH TEMPERATURE AIR CANNON ADVANTAGES

The L-Tan Super High Temperature super Air Cannon was developed by L- Tan Co. Israel. This cannon is built from All solid metal, no rubber or plastic parts. This ensures continuous reliable operation, working through designated air nozzles inserted to kilns and other facilities that operate in temperatures exceeding 1400° C.
The cannon has been conceived and designed in order to create supersonic air splash. Therefore, valve opening speed is crucial when aiming to achieve effective air shock-wave on the object matter. For instance, the valve piston opening in a 6“ cannon is achieved by applying preliminary air pressure to its surface at a force of 4 ½ ton (at 8.5 bar work pressure (125 psi)). This pressure is significantly higher than that found in comparable marketed cannons.
Another remarkable fact is that comparing with other cannon valves, L-Tan Super High Temperature Air Cannon piston is the lightest of all comparable products in respect of valve opening force. These two significant facts produce a cannon that has a rapid valve opening speed, faster than any other High Temperature Air Cannon product, whether made of solid metal or other materials. L-Tan Super High Temperature Air Cannon’s air evacuation system required for air splash is the world’s most efficient method used.
Upon the piston opening to its optimal span, the designated opening-blow softener and piston cleaning mechanism are engaged simultaneously. This operation prevents erosion and breakage as seldom noticed in other manufacturer's cannons.
All builds allow quick handling (disassembly and assembly) of the valve’s components (spring and piston) with no need to remove the cannon from its mount.
All L-Tan Super High Temperature super Air Cannons do not require lubrication!!!
Another feature exclusive to the L-Tan Super High Temperature Air Cannons is the ability to clean the valve’s sealing point, located between the piston and the opposite mount, without disassembling the cannon. Virtually all other cannons produced today worldwide require the operator to open the cannon for this purpose. All of the aforementioned features show that the L-Tan Air Cannon was specially designed to meet the highest of standards and to deliver outstanding performance.
Operation and monitoring:
It is possible to operate and monitor the air cannons in a number of ways:
- Manually, using an electric switch.
- Automatic, using a timer.
- Automatic electric function.
- Manual pneumatic control.
- Automatic pneumatic control.
